All of my artworks begin with a watercolor background. I like watercolor for the nuanced gradients it creates. Then, I used mark-making tools to create texture with acrylic paints.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

My tools are usually found objects or handmade. For this phase, I like to use acrylic paint because it shows up well against the watercolor. These are some examples of my hand-created patterns and textures, all with acrylic paint. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

After I create the background, I add shapes from papers I hand color myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
